Central Park Photography Tour and Workshop with a Local Photographer

Two and a half hours in Central Park with a camera and a professional photographer who lives in the city. The walk is a working lesson: how to scout for a picture before you shoot it, what to look for in a scene, and how to handle the visual editing afterwards. The group starts and finishes at Bethesda Fountain, in the middle of the park off 72nd Street, and moves between the park's well-known sights and its open lawns and water. Bring whatever you shoot with. The workshop suits every level, whether you have just bought your first camera or have been at it as a hobby for years. Bookings are small: up to 4 people each. The whole route is wheelchair and stroller accessible, it suits all fitness levels, and children must come with an adult (infants sit on an adult's lap). The guiding is in English, and local taxes are included. Gratuities, hotel pickup and drop-off, and transport to and from the park are not. The Met sits on the park's east side and the American Museum of Natural History faces it from the west, so the workshop fits easily into a day at either museum.
