Central Park Scavenger Hunt: Self-Guided App Game by Let's Roam

This is a scavenger hunt run through your phone. Let's Roam's app sends you around Central Park with a string of trivia questions and small challenges, and you work through them at your own pace for about 90 minutes. Nobody leads the group: it is self-guided and private, so you start whenever you like. The route takes in well-known landmarks and a few corners that are easy to walk past. Before you set off, each player picks a role in the app, and the challenges change to suit it, so a group of friends ends up doing different things at the same stops. Play it as a team or turn it into a contest. It fits a family afternoon as well as a birthday, a bachelorette party or a work team-building outing. One booking covers up to 6 people, and there is no minimum age. The hunt is wheelchair accessible and strollers are fine, though a moderate level of fitness helps. The price covers access to the app and nothing else: admission to any attraction, food and drinks, transport, parking and other paid activities are extra. Charge your phone fully before starting (a power bank is a good idea, since the phone does the navigating), check the forecast and wear comfortable shoes.
