Home Alone 2 and Elf Filming Locations Tour in Central Park

An hour in the corner of Central Park where Kevin McCallister and Buddy the Elf spent their time in New York. A professional guide walks you to the locations from Home Alone 2: Lost in New York and Elf, tells the stories behind the scenes, and stops often enough for you to take pictures and act out your favorite moments. The walk starts outside Alwyn Court at 58th Street and Seventh Avenue and heads to the Plaza Hotel, where Kevin checks in and runs into Donald Trump in the lobby, with some history of the hotel itself. Then comes Gapstow Bridge, where Kevin first meets the pigeon lady, with the Midtown towers rising behind it, and Wollman Rink, where the Sticky Bandits stand by the ice. From there you pass the Central Park Zoo seen in Elf, walk under the American elms of the Mall that appear in both films, and reach the fountain and the tunnel at Bethesda Terrace where Kevin runs from the bandits. Cherry Hill and Bow Bridge come next, then the bridge where Buddy and his brother have their snowball fight, and finally 55 Central Park West, the Hobbs family's building in Elf. The tour returns to the starting point. It suits all fitness levels, strollers are fine, and infants sit on an adult's lap.
