MoMA Admission Ticket with Audio Guide, Films and MoMA PS1 Entry

The Starry Night is here. So are Warhol's Gold Marilyn Monroe and his Campbell's Soup Cans, Picasso's Les Demoiselles d'Avignon, and a long run of the artists who defined the last century and this one: Jackson Pollock, Jasper Johns, Cindy Sherman, Elizabeth Murray, Frida Kahlo, Matisse, Monet, Lichtenstein. This is admission to the Museum of Modern Art at 11 West 53rd Street in Midtown Manhattan, and it covers more than the permanent galleries. The ticket includes the special exhibitions, the daily film screenings in the museum's theaters and the gallery talks. The audio programs are free, come in nine languages (English, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean and Mandarin) and play on your own phone, so pack earphones. It also gets you into MoMA PS1, the contemporary art space in Queens, for up to 14 days after your MoMA visit. Allow about three hours. The collection started with a gift of eight prints and one drawing and now fills floor after floor, so it is worth deciding in advance which galleries you care about most and heading there first, before the crowds build around the Van Gogh. A few house rules to know before you go. Food and drinks are not allowed inside. Luggage, carry-on bags and oversize backpacks are not allowed either, and scooters, skateboards, rolling bags and anything larger than 11 x 17 x 5 inches will be turned away, so travel light. The museum is fully wheelchair accessible, and free wheelchairs are available on a first-come, first-served basis; motorized wheelchairs are permitted. Service animals are welcome and strollers are fine. This ticket is for MoMA (and PS1) only. It does not include the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Up to 15 travelers can be booked on one order, with mobile or paper tickets accepted.
